Welcome to the SSCCC new website!

Legislative Priorities

The SSCCC annually develops its legislative priorities based on the resolutions passed by the Delegate Assembly. The Delegate Assembly's membership includes representatives from all 116 community colleges and provides diverse perspectives from all around California. These resolutions provide the SSCCC with the direction that guides the SSCCC towards critical issues in the California Community College system that needs to be addressed through legislation or other means. The SSCCC then implements these resolutions by authoring and supporting legislation. The 2020-2021 legislative priorities provide a focus for the SSCCC policy agenda for the year and can be found in the report found below.

For information about the legislative priorities, please contact the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at vpla@studentsenateccc.org.
